JUDGING CONTEST
1. Contest open to all counties.
Rings to be judged are 2 rings of cattle, 2 rings of swine, and 2 rings of sheep. We reserve the right to alter or reduce rings depending upon the availability of livestock.
2. Official placing will be given.
3. Contestants will be allowed 10 minutes to judge each ring.
Determining the individuals with the most perfect scores of 50 points will break ties.
4. Awards will be given to the top 3 teams and top 5 individuals in each
age division, junior, intermediate and senior.
5. A team consists of four individuals. All four scores of the members of the team will be counted toward the team score.
6. 4-H and County FFA judging teams should be sanctioned. i.e. Approval of 4-H club leaders and/or Vo-Ag instructors.
7. Registration time will be 2:30 - 3:00 p.m.
Special Livestock Judging Awards
Security State Bank of Sheldon will award the top three Livestock Judging plaques.
Iowa State Bank of Sheldon and Paullina will present the top 10 individual Judging medals.

Herdsmanship Contest
Sponsored by the Bradley and Dudley McDowell Families
A Herdsmanship contest will be implemented again at the 2004 O'Brien County Fair. The Herdsmanship contest is open to all 4-H clubs and FFA chapters. Each day a committee will evaluate the neatness and cleanliness of the pens in the livestock barns. A point system will be used.

E. Attendants (10)
Total Points 100
They will award a traveling plaque to the Overall Club Champion along with premium money.
