Where Do I Throw It?

First, would some one else like to have it? Second, can it be recycled? Third, what now? There's Frangenberg Sanitary Services (Fridays, recycle 4th Wednesday, or rent their dumpsters). Grass (only) goes in the dumpster west of Morris Rental Storage (175 N Roberts)) Leaves go to the area by the airport. Tree debris also to the site by the airport. And then there are special cases.

From the news: Please don't rake leaves into the street (or mow grass into the street). It gums up the culverts and drainaage. Use the 'grass' dumpster or take them to the lagoon area.

More ideas to be responsible citizens may be added later. Thanks for visiting.

Noets from the Newsletters:

Residents are reminded yellow plastic recycle barrels are not to be used for garbage disposal. Frangenberg Sanitary Services will not pick up recycle barrels containing garbage…even if the "recycle" lettering on the barrel is covered.

Garbage tags for extra garbage can be purchased at City Hall. The cost is $1.00 per tag.

GARBAGE DEPOSITED AT TREE/BRUSH BURNING SITE. Summer, 2003, an individual dumped a pickup load of garbage at the tree/brush burning site north of the city lagoons. This is a no-no.
