Utilities ManagementThe city has three main buildings. City Hall, on the east side of the square, houses the city manager, the city clerk and the billing clerk. Questions about city services (electricity, water, sewer, cable TV, streets and garbage collection) would be answered here. The city clerk controls billing and payroll for Primghar. The light plant, southwest of the courthouse, houses the emergency generators for use when storms (blizzards or lightning) disrupt electric service. Finally, the City Garage, houses vehicles and a shop area. Top |
